Children of the Revolución
Be Part of the Movement
Children of the Revolución exists because families chose to share their stories. This project continues today because people believe that memory matters — and that history lives through voices, photographs, and lived experience.
There are several ways to get involved, depending on how you would like to participate.
Option 1 — Share Your Story
CONTRIBUTE TO THE LIVING ARCHIVE
Do you have a family story connected to the Mexican Revolution or its aftermath? Many of the most powerful stories in Children of the Revolución were never written down. They survived through conversations, photographs, and memories passed from generation to generation.
You are invited to share a brief summary of your story with us.
What Happens Next
- Our team reviews each submission carefully
- If your story is a good fit, we will contact you by email
- You will receive clear guidelines on how to prepare your story for publication
- Selected stories may be published as part of the Voices archive
Nothing is published without your consent.
Option 2 — Preserve a Living Voice
VIDEO INTERVIEWS WITH FAMILY MEMBERS
If a member of your family is still alive and carries stories passed down through generations, we invite you to participate in a recorded video interview.
These interviews preserve oral history in the family’s own words — capturing emotion, voice, and presence for children and grandchildren who come after.
Interviews may be conducted remotely or in coordination with the project team.
Support the Project
Children of the Revolución is sustained through community support. If you would like to contribute to the preservation of this cultural archive, you can do so by supporting access to the documentary series through the Watch page.
History survives when someone decides to tell it.
